At your first visit to All Family Dental, you can expect to be treated in a kind and professional matter as soon as you enter our office. Make yourself comfortable in our waiting area with a cup coffee or tea. Your first visit will be primarily focused on information gathering in a comfortable manner. Our examination may be more thorough than you are used to and will differ based on your individual needs. Often times, you may be able to have your teeth cleaned also. If there is an urgent concern, we will try to focus on any problem area you may have. Your oral health assessment may include some of the following:

  • Examination of your teeth and their existing restorations
  • Screening for Gum disease
  • Oral cancer screening
  • TMJ (jaw joint), muscle, and bite analysis
  • Any necessary digital dental x-rays
  • Oral photography

What should you bring?
Before your visit, you’re welcome to print out some of our patient forms from our website and complete them ahead of time. If you have not done so, allow some extra time before your first visit to fill out these forms. If you have any insurance information or an insurance card, please bring this with you as well.

What’s next?
After your initial examination our doctors will review their findings and study your oral photographs. From there they will come up with comprehensive treatment options that will fit your individual dental needs. This will often include a no charge consult with one of our doctors where we review our findings together and you have a chance to let us know how you would like to be treated. Additionally, this is a great opportunity to have any questions you may have answered.

We look forward to getting to know you!
